FIFA 14

FIFA 14 is the upcoming edition of Electronic Arts' FIFA video game series, developed by EA Canada. The game is expected to be released for PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 on September 24, 2013 in North America and September 27, 2013 for other regions.[3] It will be released on next-generation systems PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita - and on devices running Android and iOS operating systems. It has been announced that the game will be free to play for the Android and iOS platforms.[4] A demo of the game was released worldwide on September 15, 2013, two weeks before the launch of the full game, on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Teams included in the demo are PSG, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, New York Red Bulls and Boca Juniors.[5]

Lionel Messi will return as the main cover star for all regions on the global cover, having been on the cover for FIFA 13 and FIFA Street.^[1] It will be the first time that the FIFA Soccer name will not be used in North America.^[18] The United States will have both the global cover, as well as the cover with Javier Hernández.^[18]
Gareth Bale originally featured in the UK and Irish cover in the colours of his former club Tottenham Hotspur,^[19] but EA Sports later updated the cover, this time featuring Bale in a Real Madrid kit.^[20][21]
